Steel structure: primary and secondary structure

The following is a brief description of the various typical steel frame structure.

The Primary load-bearing system of this structure is called the Primary structure. After the installation is complete, the entire metal building frame will be a whole. It supports the weight of the whole building and will transfer that weight to the foundation.

The Primary structure supports the entire building like ribs. The pillars and roof steel beams of the primary structure fix on the endplates of columns with high-strength bolts. When two external posts connect with the roof steel beams, a steel frame formed. Pre-embedded foot bolts attached to the base of the column and the foundation.

The distance portal frame is  6m-10m, depending on the length of the entire building, and the influence of the load.`

Corner pillars on the end wall connect to the roof beam of the end wall, and There are wind-resistant columns that provided as required. The wind-resistant columns are mainly used to transmit wind loads on the end wall.
